It doesn't have any marks on it, but you have to remember that Plainfield and IJ polished most of their surplus parts prior to blueing them. I can't decide if the operating slide is USGI or not. This particular carbine has its fair share of USGI parts, to include almost everything in the trigger housing, front sight, gas piston & nut, rear sight, type II barrel band, and probably most of the bolt parts, to exclude the bolt body.
